GHS: (R.O.P. AM STUDENTS) TUESDAY 5/18
5/18 Juniors will be released at 9:00 am. The seniors will be released at 9:30.
You may drop off your portfolio/evaluation/time sheet(s) prior to leaving.
ALL STUDENTS -For: THIS Wednesday 5/19/2010: FHS and AVHS ROP: 1:05 to 3:05
May 19th, drop by with your PORTFOLIO, EVALUATION and TIME SHEET(S). I'll be in the classroom all day.
You may drop these off today or on Tuesday 5/18 as well 8:00 to 9:20 or 12:00 to 2:00 (GHS). I'll be in the classroom on Tuesday at lunch - from 11:30 to 1:30. Call my cell if needed to make special arrangements to meet.
DO NOT DROP OFF PORTFOLIO/EVALUATION WITH ANYONE BUT ME. DROP IT OFF AND HAND IT TO ME DIRECTLY. If I am not in the classroom, call my cell phone and I will meet you right away. I will be here on campus all day Wednesday, 5/19. THANK YOU!!!!!
For those considering becoming a CCMA (California Certified Medical Assistant), Kate Logan will be here on Wednesday 5/26 to talk to us about taking the state exam online. I hope a lot of you decide to take it. Even if you are not 18 yet, please plan ahead for your eligibility date.
Regarding CC hours - a few of you have and perhaps will be in the OVER 200 CLUB! Good job.
There are, including today, 8 CC days left. If you are short on hours, see me and we'll strategize on special projects and making each hour count!
As we approach the end of the CC/Internship, please make an effort to thank your site for allowing you to volunteer there. Some folks write a thank you card, others bring in a treat. Either way, make it known that you and this program are grateful to them. You are very appreciated for all of your effort toward caring for patients and helping at your site. Know that you have accomplished a great deal this year.
