FOR GHS STUDENTS: Please come to the classroom or call me with your plans for MONDAY AND TUESDAY, 5/3 and 5/4. If you are not at site OR at school on 5/3 and 5/4- please arrange for an excuse note or call from a parent right away.

Here's the schedule: (GHS only)... 5/3 10:50 to 12:00 and 12:40 to 1:50 RM 108
5/4 12:25 to 1:15 RM 108

Wednesday 5/5 - GHS: Here at 10:50 AFTERNOON CLASS: 1:05

Keep up those hours! You have 16 days left of CC time. Do the math and complete your 180+ hours. Most of you are doing fine. If you need help, see me right away!!! Some people are already in the OVER 200 CLUB! There will be a special certificate for members.

CMAA Meeting in on May 15. Please let me know if you'd like to attend. - ABOUT 9 CC Hrs!
CMA EXAM REVIEW is on May 16. - ABOUT 3 CC Hrs!

Turn in your portfolio and your evaluation as soon as possible...any day between now and 5/19. Get sheet protectors if you do not have any yet. Make a really professional cover.

MATERIALS FOR CLASS: Please have your workbook, CC binder and spelling list with you.

Print out the CMA exam review guide if you don't have yours. Go to www.ccbma.org and go to the "recertification" tab. Go to the bottom of the page. Call me if you need help.

Keep an eye on your hours....5/28 marks the end of Community Classroom (internship).

Here are some reminders for my fantastic crew of medical professionals ~PORTFOLIO and EVALUATION - Please turn these in between now and 5/19. Feel free to turn these in as early as you like. Thank you!!!Remember: You have UNTIL 5/28 to complete your CC hours.

See me if needed.GHS - Here on Wed. 4/28 - 9:00 a.m. as usual. STAR testing begins on 4/29 for GHS. Adhere to that schedule, do as much time at site as possible, and make sure your supervisors are informed. Wed 5/5 - we are here at 10:50 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.LHS - Normal schedule. See you on 4/28.

FHS/AVHS - FOR 4/28: Please arrive between 2 and 2:30. Work with the STAR schedule, do as many CC hours as you can and make sure your supervisors know about your schedule.

Hi Folks,

GHS: See you on 4/21 and on 4/28, normal Wednesday Schedule. May 5th -- 10:50 a.m.

LHS: See you on 4/22 THURSDAY at 2:05

AVHS: For 4/21 - please arrive as soon as you can, 2:30ish? and on 4/28 - arrive at 2:15.

FHS: See you on 4/21 and 4/28, at 2:15.

CMAA Conference Folks - See you tomorrow!

Hi All,

If you're going tomorrow to the CMAA Education Day, please park in Parking Lot "D" and we'll be in building 1700. For those volunteering to help in the morning, please come at 7:00 a.m. For everyone else, please arrive just before 8:00.

CONGRATULATIONS TO: Austyn, Rachel, Alex H., Sheena, Nicole, Katelyn and Karen for being chosen as candidates for the ValleyCare Auxilliary Scholarship! Good luck !!!

STAR TESTING SCHEDULES: Everyone - please adhere to your school's schedule and put in as much time at your site as possible. Inform your sites of your schedules! Let me know what you plan to do (via cell or email) so I know when to visit you. You can write this information on your time sheet too. Keep up the good work on your journals in your CC binders.

Welcome Back From Spring Break!

Dear Students,

Please bring in the following on Wednesday April 14th:

1. Registration Form with your cash/check for $20 (if you have not already)
2. Time sheets for week of March 29th - April 2nd AND week of April 5th - April 9th (if you were at your site during spring break)
3. Portfolio Items

We will be working on organizing and ordering medical office supplies. We will be discussing techniques in problem solving, medical terminology, and spelling words.
